Customer Feedback / Re: Achilles BFST
« on: April 30, 2019, 11:24:09 AM »
I am sorry you had an issue with your products on more than one occasion.  Please call our treatment advisors at 1-844-400-2525 to discuss this issue further at your earliest convenience.

I am glad to hear that it has given you some relief and routine use is key in seeing that.  The BFST is much more than a just heat and there is a lot more going on than compared to a heating pad.  The wrap uses electro magnetic energy with a penetrating wavelength technology to stimulate the blood flow deep within the tissues.  Much more effective than simply heating the surface of the skin.  This, in turn draws blood flow up to the surface, away from the tissues making the healing and recovery process that much longer.

You are right, nothing should go wrong with it and to have two issues is quite a rare occurrence.  This could be an issue of a strain, twisted wires, maybe it was stored and creased too hard or maybe there was a loose connection.  These are electrical components and even with pre-testing there can be the event of a failure.  We strive to gain as much information of any reported fault to improve upon the product in the future.

With your overall investment with King Brand, we do thank you for your loyalty in purchasing multiple products and again apologize for the issues with the BFST Achilles wrap. We hope you are getting results from any other products received.  We do appreciate you reaching out and providing feedback.  This is how product development happens and we welcome any further comments or feedback in the future.

General Discussion / Re: slight buzzing sound?

It is just the power and energy going through the wraps.  More noticeable in the larger, higher powered webs compared to the smaller units.

Treatment Questions / Using your BFST over clothing
« on: April 12, 2019, 11:49:10 AM »
We get this question often.  Depending on what area you are treating and where you are doing your treatment, it may not be convenient to place the BFST directly on the skin.

While it is best to treat on the the skin you can do it over clothing if necessary.  It will reduce the effectiveness minimally but it is better than skipping a treatment all together.  Ensure it is not over any thick material such as wool socks for example.  A thin cotton pair would be best.

Wish you all the best in your treatment and feel free to reach our directly to customer service with any questions you may have.

Yes, the buzzing is normal in some of our energy webs.  Most common in the shoulder as it is a larger energy web as well as it is close to the ear so can be detected easier compared to our other wraps.

Upcoming Events / Re: Tape
« on: April 11, 2019, 02:02:45 PM »
The tape can be applied as often as needed.  When applied it can last for about 2 days.  Once it is removed, it is disposed of and cannot be reapplied.
Each roll comes with about 200" of tape.  This will last the average person about 15-20 applications depending on the area.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.

Treatment Questions / Using the BFST and ColdCure while staying active
« on: February 13, 2019, 11:48:54 AM »
While rest is the best option for recovery, some don't always have the option...or the want to stay still.  If you are continuing to stay active during your recovery from injury, incorporate your treatments around it.

Use BFST before.  This will help warm up the area internally and help prevent again over straining and be sure to get the ColdCure on after.  Inflammation acts like a barrier for good blood flow and if you put additional strain on the tissues, you need to reduce the inflammation to enable the blood to continuously get at the soft tissues to help heal and repair.

Don't forget to use KB Tape to support the area to help protect the tendons and ligaments from over extension.

Don't push yourself.  If what you are doing hurts, stop or modify.

If you have any questions about the use of the BFST and ColdCure when active, please contact our Customer Service Team toll free at 844-400-2525.

General Discussion / Re: Debunking Common Plantar Fasciitis Myths
« on: November 13, 2018, 07:19:05 PM »
Hi DwightRi,

Thanks for your question.

The ColdCure would be your first method of treatment to help with managing pain from an injury. Our ColdCure products offer cold compression to bring down inflammation/swelling and pain, and can be used for as long as needed.

Once your pain has been reduced, the BFST will help promote healing your injury. The best time to use BFST would be first thing when you wake up in the morning and the second best time would be before you go to bed. We recommend doing 2-4 BFST treatments in a day.

If you will be doing any sort of physical activity, do a BFST treatment before the activity and then use the ColdCure after you are done your activity.

If you have any more questions, please contact us via email or call us at 1-844-400-2525.

General Discussion / Staying active with a Bakers Cyst
« on: October 25, 2018, 10:36:35 AM »
We have the discussion with many of our customers on how can continue staying active while dealing with their injury.  We always recommend to rest and not to push it.  The last thing you would want to do is re-injure or further aggravate the knee.  Keeping the inflammation down behind the knee is the best way the stimulated blood flow will effectively heal the underlying issue causing the cyst.

For those who continue to stay active, what are some of the exercises or modifications on exercises you recommend?

Swimming? Yoga?

Let us know your thoughts.

Questions & Answers About Our Products / Re: nerves
« on: September 05, 2018, 11:33:55 AM »
Hi mjwinslo,

We don't test our products specifically for nerve regeneration for the foot, having an increase in blood flow would not hurt in any way.

Keep in mind that if there is any loss of sensation in the foot we would advise against using the BFST as you would not be able to tell if the device was stimulating a gentle warming sensation, or if the BFST was too strong for your foot during application.

Keep in mind that all KingBrand purchases are 100% Risk Free, meaning that you are able to try them for yourself, and if you're not satisfied or are not getting the results that you expected, you're welcome to return them within our 30 day return window.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

General Discussion / Re: Debunking Common Plantar Fasciitis Myths
« on: August 30, 2018, 10:55:27 AM »
Hi Tender_Tendons,

I do agree that there is a LOT of misinformation on the internet, which is why we've dedicated a whole page to Myths that are commonly practiced. We hear from lots of customers who have been suffering with Plantar Fasciitis for months and months, and sometimes years - when you don't really have to!

Think of your Plantar Fascia as a piece of paper. When your Plantar Fascia is healthy with no damage to it, just like the paper, it's really hard to tear. Now when you have an injury to your Plantar Fascia, that is very small 'micro-tears'. When you put a small tear into the piece of paper, all of the sudden it is really easy to tear further.

Now you have to be careful that you don't continue tearing your Plantar Fascia, because just like the paper it's easy to tear further and lengthen your healing process.

This is exactly why we do not recommend stretching, orthotics or anything that's going to cause extra pressure on the bottom of your foot.

You're right, there's always two different views based on the same studies. So I hope that you read through all of this (I'm sorry I'm long winded) and the choice is always yours for what modality you choose. We've never stated that this is the ONLY way that you're going to heal, but merely the modality that makes the most sense when you look at how your body functions when you're injured and healthy. That is really what King Brand is about, supporting our customers and potential customers to heal in the best way that they choose.

Yes, your plantar is meant to be stretched and massaged. Stretching and massaging your Plantar Fascia ligament while it's healthy will always promote good blood flow and help prevent re-injury. Stretching and massaging while your injured will cause me to reference your tendon to a piece of paper again. It's very fragile in it's injured state.

Always work within pain boundaries. Your body is giving you pain, because it's telling you that you're working too hard and hurting it. Massaging and stretching with no pain is completely acceptable. While most doctors will tell you 'no pain no gain', this is not the correct approach. If you Massage and Stretch the pain away, you've essentially continued to tear the tendon further until there is no more pressure applied, which will temporarily give you relief until you rest again and your body starts healing.

Which is why all people suffering from Plantar Fasciitis hate those first few steps in the morning. They are painful because your body is trying to heal and those first few steps are tearing and undoing the healing from overnight.

The internet unfortunately is filled with so much mis-information, that when that inaccurate information becomes repeated enough it turns into law. With an ailment as prevalent as Plantar Fasciitis unfortunately this is the case.

I'm not saying that ALL orthotics are bad, some people do benefit from it. There are people with flat feet, or even with one leg slightly longer than the other that will absolutely benefit fromorthotics, but most people would benefit a lot more from a change in footwear. Women not wearing high heels, or shoes without proper support like flip-flop sandals will often suffer from Plantar Fasciitis at one time or another, but that doesn't mean it has to become chronic suffering. Othotics should be secondary to trying to find out what's causing the problem to persist.

Just last weekend, I enjoyed a long bike ride and was wearing sandals. The next morning I realized that I was suffering from a touch of Plantar Fasciitis. Changing up my footwear from my sandals without support to a lace up shoe that had a lot better support caused my mild case of Plantar Fasciitis to go away in 2-3 days as well as moderate use of Cold to help reduce the inflammation.

I wish you the best in your recovery with your Plantar Fasciitis, and we are here to help you through the healing process.

Always remember that purchasing anything off of our website is a 100% Risk Free Purchase as all of our products come with a 30 day money back guarantee. The reason we give 30 days is because within those 30 days, by developing a routine with our BFST and ColdCure Plantar Wraps, you should start to see some positive results. The key is consistency though. 3-4 treatments a day with the treatment first thing in the morning, and right before you go to bed being the two most important treatments.

You will always have our support too. You're more than welcome to call us any time and we can provide assistance in treating your Plantar Fasciitis as effectively and quickly as possible.

Again, I'm sorry that I'm so long winded, but there is soo much information that I thought important for you to read.

Best regards,
