Thank you for your interest in King Brand and sorry to hear about your elbow.

The Basics wrap is a sleeve style elastic wrap with the gel pack sewn within.  When you need to get it cold, the whole wrap has to go in the fridge or freezer.
The ColdCure comes with an open wrap, adjustable by Velcro and 3 separate gel packs.  You can rotate the gels out and always have a cold one ready when the one in the wrap loses its cold.
Both are one size fits all and side interchangeable.

The most common is the ColdCure as you get the extra gel packs and you can make it as tight or as loose as needed.

I hope this information helps, please let us know if you have any further questions regarding our products.
King Regards,
Ashley
