metatarsal pain/ pain on side of foot
« on: October 24, 2016, 12:01:09 PM »
Hello,
I have a question in regards to treatment option for the pain that I am experiencing in my left foot since the middle of August. Initially I was treating it at home but then when the pain was not going away I went to see a podiatrist . He recommended laser ( theralaze and EMS - Gpulse ) , volarin foot cream and ice. I also now  have a pair of orthotic since I have a high arch . However even after these treatments I am still in pain when I walk. I am not certain what type of treatment options I should take for the pain that I am experiencing. For instance when should I put ice on my foot or heat.  I would like to know which of your products do you recommend for my condition and when should I use them.

Thank you for your interest in King Brand.  The Coldcure is recommended to help treat the pain and inflammation.  The less inflammation you have the better your blood will flow through.

We recommend the use of cold multiple times a day for a few days to ensure any lingering inflammation is taken care of.  You would then always go back to the cold when needed.

After the first few days and when you notice a decrease in your pain level, we recommend the use of the BFST wrap.  You will use this 3-5 times a day 20 minutes at a time.  This will optimize your circulation to help heal and repair the damaged tissues.

We also sell support tape which will help support your foot while you are healing and help prevent against over straining.

Generally when treating, Coldcure when you are in pain and then routinely using the BFST to keep good circulation.  We do not recommend the use of heat as it doesn't really do much for the overall healing process.

I hope this information helps.  I have included a few useful links to our website below.
Regards,
Ashley
