Sorry you are in so much pain. We generally do not like to go against a Doctors recommendation, but if it hurts and causing more pain, you should discontinue what your doing. When treating Plantar Fasciitis, you should avoid stretching the plantar muscle, which night splints generally do.
Our recommendation would be to start with ColdCure wraps to get the inflammation decreased to enable the blood to flow through to create the ideal healing environment for the foot.
