My grandson has plantar fascitis in both feet and pain in the lower part of his ankles. He was running cross country and plays basketball every chance he gets. Since his ankles do bother him, would the BFST for an ankle help his Plantar issues also, or since the Plantar seems to be the most troublesome, should we go with that product instead. I can't afford two, so what is the best option?

Hello mtntrails76

Thanks for posting!

Our BFST products will definitely help your grandson. However the difference in coverage areas in Plantar and Ankle is very different. The Ankle BFST covers the back side of the ankle, focusing on treating the Achilles tendon; the BFST Plantar covers the Plantar muscle from the heel to just before the toes (depending on foot size), and hits a small section above the base of the heel, roughly 1 inch. You could always look into our BFST Leg wrap which can be used more universally and can be applied to both areas.

Please call us toll free at 1-877-661-5239 and speak to one of our customer service agents, so we can more accurately choose the proper wrap for your grandson.

Regards,
