The BFST is designed to stimulate blood flow to heal soft tissue injuries of the tendons, muscles, and ligaments. The BFST will also help to heal cartilage, but it takes longer due to the absorption (diffusion) into the cartilage itself as there is no direct blood supply.
However, the BFST uses Electro Magnetic Energy to stimulate blood flow and does not pass through bone. That means it will not aid bone healing.
