Got the hot and cold treatment for hip bursitis...
« on: February 15, 2017, 06:14:33 PM »
But the packages say they are for the back, and it would not cover both hips. Am I supposed to do it twice as often by doing only one hip at a time or did I get the wrong packages?

The Back/Hip wrap does not cover both hips at the same time.  We do not have a wrap to do this.  You would have to treat one side then the other.

With the ColdCure, as you have three gel packs, feel free to use 2 gel packs at the same time.  One gel will be in the mesh pocket on one hip and a second gel will be held in place just by the wrap on the other side.

I hope this suggestion helps.  Please contact us any time if you have any further questions.

All the best.

I guess I don't understand when to use hot and when to use cold.  Can you help please?

Treatment slightly varies from person to person, but generally:
Start with just the ColdCure, multiple times a day for 20 minutes at a time.  After a few days, when you notice a decrease in your level of pain, you can incorporate the BFST.
Level 1 to start, 3-4 times a day for 20 minutes.  Go back to Cold anytime you are in more pain.
I have included links to some more detailed instructions that may help.  Keep in mind, ColdCure when in pain and BFST routinely when feeling generally ok.
