MRI RESULTS OF 5/18/2013 ::Significant acromioclavicular  joint degenerative changes are present. There is a complete thickness tear scene involving the supraspinatus tendon. There is a defect that measures approximate 12 x 19 mm. A small shoulder effusion is seen along with the small subacromial bursal collection. There is a normal appearance of the bicipital tendon. The tendon is quite small in caliber, although it does lie in the bicipital groove. Please Help. I would like to avoid surgery if possible.
