Treatment Questions / Re: Little miniscus remaining...
« on: September 24, 2013, 11:20:06 AM »
Hello tgrichards,

Thank you for posting.

From the sounds of it, you would most likely benefit from our combination therapy. By combining the usage of BFST and ColdCure wraps, you will help the healing process, and strengthen your knee. Using BFST prior to exercise or activity will help promote the blood flow and elasticity, lowering the chance of re-injury. After activity, applying the ColdCure wrap to your knee will help control any swelling or inflammation that has come from your activity.

By combining the treatments you will have more control over the healing process taking place within your knee.

Hope this helps, call us toll free at 1-877-661-5239 for further explanation.

Questions & Answers About Our Company / Re: ACHILLES TENDON

lire,

Thanks for posting, that is a great question.

INF or InfaRed does not match up to our BFST Energy Webs. InfaRed technology is a heat source. Our BFST Energy Webs are designed to promote blood flow deep within the soft tissues, while minimizing the heat produced.

Questions & Answers About Our Products / Re: King Brand/Medical Insurance
« on: September 02, 2013, 10:04:27 AM »
Hi luvenme2,

All of our products are FDA Registered and are registered Medical Devices. In most cases our products are covered under medical insurance, depending on which provider and what level of plan you have; however, we do not deal with Insurance companies directly. Once you purchase the product, you would present your respective insurance provider with proof of purchase, and they will usually refund you the money. Best case scenario is for you to call in, retrieve the billing codes from one of our customer service providers and present them to your insurance provider to see if you are covered. All products list the billing codes on them, as well as FDA Registration numbers.

Seeing as you have several issues, it would be best that you call us toll free and speak to one of Customer Service providers. All your problems you have listed are treatable using King Brand Healthcare Products. Please call us any day of the week, toll free at 1-877-661-5239

Treatment Questions / Re: Tendonitis of the wrist and fingers
« on: August 27, 2013, 02:08:55 PM »
Hi 'Horseshoer', thank you for your posting your questions. With tendonitis of any kind, you will be looking at an average of six weeks to get your inflammation under control. For pain management, this depends on the individual. Please make sure you use the cold treatments 3-4 times a day, especially at the end of the day.

Compressions will provide you with support to help prevent re-injury and avoid further damage. If you require any suggestions or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Team.

Hi dogbone, and ryderspink,

Thanks for both of your posts!

I will start by answering dogbone's questions.

Depending on the location and type of cyst, it could be obstructing the tear from healing itself, and receiving the proper blood flow; further information would be needed before we would recommend a product to you. As for your meniscus tear, the BFST Knee would be excellent for treating the tear and your low blood flow issue. The knee is historically a low blood flow area, and the BFST would assist in supplying a healthy amount of blood flow. The BFST and ColdCure in combination would be excellent for treating your knee issues, as well as helping to prevent further re-injury both pre and post surgery.

ryderspink,

Your doctor is a smart person; using pain meds will only mask the issue, and can add to scar tissue build up, which is not a good thing.

Let us know how your treatment goes, we love hearing feed back from our customers!

Thanks for both of your posts, and if either of you need anymore information please contact us toll free at 1-877-661-5239.

Treatment Questions / Re: Why wait 30 minutes between hot and cold
« on: August 01, 2013, 02:35:33 PM »
Hi mindy,

Thanks for the post, and that is an excellent question!

You should allow your bodies temperature to stabilize before switching from ColdCure to BFST; with ColdCure treatments it decreases swelling and circulation. By allowing your bodies temperature to stabilize, it will allow the BFST treatment to be more effective. As for BFST transitioning to ColdCure, you should allow 3-4 hour after a BFST treatment to treat with ColdCure because the ColdCure treatment right after, or within a short amount of time will negate any progress the BFST treatment has made. BFST will stimulate your blood flow and a treatment of ColdCure would cancel out the benefits of a 20 minute BFST treatment.

The best way to treat is to apply BFST (provided there is no inflammation present) then allow 3-4 hours before you apply ColdCure. If you are active, then treat with BFST before your activity, then treat with ColdCure after the activity to reduce any swelling from the activity itself.

If you need more clarification on this topic, please feel free to contact us toll free at 1-877-661-5239.

Thanks for your post!

Hi bixa2805,

Thank you for your post!

We manufacture the Inferno Shoulder wrap for another company, to their specifications, but it is the same technology.

The BFST Shoulder wrap would be an excellent choice to treat a minor rotator cuff tear; however if you have any lingering pain, swelling or inflammation, you should be treating with ColdCure Shoulder before treating with BFST. It is better to treat with BFST after your swelling and inflammation has subsided.

Hi walkbrand,

Thanks for posting!

Our Energy Webs provide therapy in the ultra-safe bands of the EMF spectrum and at very safe power levels.  In terms of safety, we're right there in the 'sweet spot' which is why our BFST treatments can be used as over-the-counter medical devices for patients and conditions that might not be suitable to other forms of therapy.

Our BFST Products are in the non-ionizing range of the spectrum and do not cause molecular change. Perfectly safe for human contact and usage.

Hi dwalcott,

Welcome to the forum and thanks for your post!

If the tendons are still together, we can assist in the healing process. Our BFST products will help any partial tear or damaged soft tissue, and we must reiterate that any torn tendon that is two separate pieces requires surgery.

Tears in the 1%-60% tear range, our BFST products would definitely assist in the healing process, however a tear of 90%, or greater you should be seeking a surgeons advice, as you would most likely need surgery. On that note, our BFST products are a great asset to post surgery treatment, to improve blood flow to the treated area, and speed up your recovery time.

Not taking pain killers is great to hear, they can slow your bodies natural healing process greatly. Our ColdCure wraps would be great for any pain (and inflammation or swelling) you are experiencing and if you do decide to go the surgery route, both our ColdCure and BFST products work great pre and post surgery.

If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact us toll free at 1-888-661-5239, 7 days a week until midnight EST.

Thanks again for posting!

Treatment Questions / Re: RE: torn meniscus, left knee
« on: July 16, 2013, 11:22:49 AM »
Hi Pampullen,

The TENS unit is great for managing chronic pain by relieving muscle tension but it will not increase your blood circulation to prevent numbness etc. which is related to Carpal Tunnel. Our BFST Wrist Wrap would help bring more blood flow into your wrist to resolve your carpal tunnel syndrome meanwhile getting rid of the numbness, discomfort or tingling sensation you may be experiencing in your fingers.

Hi alk, the blood flow stimulation is a result of the electromagnetic energy the wrap products after being plugged into an outlet. Each treatments lasts 20 minutes and increases your blood flow upwards to 4 hours. This is a non-aggressive treatment as you will only experience warmth as a by product of the treatment itself. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Treatment Questions / Re: RE: torn meniscus, left knee

Hi Pampullen,

Thanks for your post!

Our ColdCure Knee wrap is greatly effective at reducing the amount of inflammation in the knee area. In the majority of cases, we recommend at least 48 hours of ColdCure treatments, but it sounds like you have a vast amount of inflammation. We would recommend that you use our ColdCure Knee wrap for at least a 4 day period continuously, then after that as needed.

As for healing your meniscus tear, our ColdCure Knee wrap would not be effective for actually beginning the healing process, as our ColdCure products treat pain, swelling and inflammation; if you are looking to heal your meniscus naturally, you should be treating with our BFST Knee wrap.

Our Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy Knee wrap will stimulate your blood flow, bringing high amounts of oxygen and nutrients to your meniscus, stimulating your bodies natural ability to heal. The ColdCure Knee is a great start for the healing process, by controlling the swelling and inflammation, however the BFST Knee wrap is what your looking for to really heal your meniscus tear.

If you have any questions about the ColdCure and BFST lines, feel free to call us toll free at 1-877-661-5239. We are available 7 days per week from 8am-midnight EST.
