Treatment Questions / Re: Completely torn...will BFST help
« on: January 09, 2023, 06:27:50 PM »
Hello,

That's a pretty serious assessment.  PT is NOT going to resolve that level of injury.  The PT is the Drs saying it's unfortunate but you're going to have to learn to live with the issue.  My first reaction is to not stop at 2 Drs opinions.  Yes, you have a serious injury and it may be the age of it that is prohibiting them from attempting a surgery.  What you're looking for is a surgeon who has a lot of experience doing shoulder repair, maybe in a large city you can find one where that's all he/she does.  Maybe it truly is beyond repair, but it's worth hunting for a Dr who feels comfortable and has confidence they can help you.

If you don't get surgery, you know already that you're going to have a lifetime of challenges with that shoulder.  BFST will be your friend as the surrounding tissue take up the load from the damaged parts.  You definitely will be giving yourself treatments indefinitely.  That treatment will help your shoulder stay as strong as possible and help it recover from the added strain going forward.  It's a must have product for you going forward.  You won't regret the investment.

If you do get surgery, the BFST will be invaluable in the recovery process. Your body will be recovering for years from that surgery and BFST will help make sure you recover as much as possible.

I'm very sorry to hear you have that level of injury.  Whatever your course of action, BFST and ColdCure and Tape are going to be helpful for you for a long time.

Scott

Good morning, mjlamarche:

I'm sorry to hear that you're continuing to experience pain in your feet since your initial injury last year. Our products are designed to work towards healing any types of soft tissue injury, whether it be ligament muscle or tendon damage.

Anything you do throughout the day, that causes an increase in pain should be avoided to the best of your ability. Respecting the pain will help you progress with your recovery. When your pain level does increase after you've been active - cold treatments will help reduce the pain naturally.

Using the BFST on the lowest level possible to feel a slight warming sensation, and getting into a good routine of using the BFST 3-4 times a day will help give you the best results. Don't feel like you need to get up to Level 3 to make a full recovery. Most people stay on Level 1 or Level 2 throughout the duration of their recovery.

Treatment Questions / Re: Torn Rotator Cuff
« on: March 16, 2022, 07:17:20 PM »
Hi Sunshineruns2,

The BFST will help to facilitate the healing of a rotator cuff tear. The BFST enhances blood flow which brings oxygen and nutrient rich blood to the area - a requirement for the body to heal itself. Unfortunately, an injured shoulder at rest often has restricted blood flow which in turn limits the body's ability to heal. Physical activity will promote blood flow but all too often it also results in small but frequent re-injury which extends the healing time and greatly increases the amount of scar tissue that develops. With a  BFST, blood flow can be stimulated in the injured area while you are at rest. With improved blood flow and without physical activity and the risk of re-injury, you can recover from their torn rotator cuff injury much more quickly.

Treatment Questions / Re: Wearing the BFST over clothing
« on: February 02, 2022, 05:48:47 PM »
Hi Jeff,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

Completing BFST treatments directly on skin and not over clothing is recommended. Using the BFST over clothing will make the treatments less effective.

Customer Feedback / Re: quad muscles pain
« on: December 16, 2021, 04:46:22 PM »
Hello stevesolo,

I'm very sorry to hear you got injured at physical therapy! I would recommend, if possible, to definitely take a break from the physical therapy and take a chance to just use our products. If you are still feeling some pain in your quadriceps, I would recommend looking into getting our ColdCure Leg Wrap in order to aid in reducing your overall pain and any inflammation from the reinjury. Once that's taken care of, our BFST Leg Wrap will work great for helping heal that recent injury by providing stimulated blood flow to the injured area to help the soft tissue heal faster.

Do not hesitate to reach out to us at 844-400-2525, if you have any questions about these products, or would like some help ordering them.

Kind regards,

Dillon with King Brand

Questions & Answers About Our Products / Re: BFST use and heating pad use
« on: December 14, 2021, 10:36:48 AM »
Hello stevesolo,

It would be most effective to allow the skin to cool down before using the BFST device. Too much warmth detected by the BFST can actually cause it to turn off on its own. Also, with the heating pad making the skin very hot, this cause blood to pool at the surface of the skin; this creates a physical barrier for the energy produced by the BFST to move through, which can cause the treatment to be less effective.

I would recommend to discontinue the use of the heating pad while trying out our products. This way you can be sure exactly what is going to help the most; King Brand products or other products.

Questions & Answers About Our Products / Re: Cold wrap and CBD salve issue
« on: December 14, 2021, 10:32:36 AM »
Hello stevesolo,

We recommend using our products on clean, bare skin. I would advise to clean the skin thoroughly if you continue to use the CBD salve while trying our treatments; I might even recommend to try our products on their own without the salve for some time to help you determine which treatment is most effective.

Do not hesitate to contact us at 844-400-2525 if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,

Customer Feedback / Re: Which cold cure wrap
« on: November 23, 2021, 02:54:55 PM »
Hello tendon3?,

Unfortunately, we do not have a ColdCure device that would work for treating both of those injuries simultaneously. To get an effective cold therapy on both injuries, you would need two different devices. Our Achilles ColdCure for Achilles tendonitis and a Foot ColdCure for plantar fasciitis.

One thing I might suggest that would be a bit unorthodox; if you purchased the Achilles wrap, you could possibly use it for your plantar fasciitis by simply laying it flat on the floor and placing the bottom of your foot on it. It would be a bit different, since the wrap won't be fitted to your foot like the Foot ColdCure would be, but if you're trying to save some money, that may be something to consider.

Treatment Questions / Re: meniscus tear
« on: November 18, 2021, 09:32:57 PM »
Hi islandboy101,

We do not recommend using TENS machines for soft tissue injuries. TENS machines deliver electric current to the nerves which is mean to reduce pain. It does not help to heal soft tissue and can often times be harmful to the healing process. By blocking pain, you could be reinjuring your body without realizing it. We recommend using the ColdCure Wrap to help reduce pain, swelling and inflammation.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to give us a call at 844-400-2525 or email us at service@kingbrand.com.

Treatment Questions / Re: Meniscus tear
« on: November 18, 2021, 09:20:25 PM »
Hi Loug,

Don't allow your Meniscus to be cut away forever by "repair surgery". You should only undergo Meniscus surgery if it is absolutely necessary. Your Meniscus is living tissue that can heal. Meniscus Repair Surgery very rarely actually repairs your Meniscus. The procedure usually gets rid of the pain by getting rid of the tissue, not fixing the actual problem.
If the tear is a complete tear, surgery is sometimes necessary, however, our products can also be used post surgery to help you heal more quickly.

Our products can help to fully heal a meniscus tear.

If you want to heal your Meniscus as quickly and completely as possible, we recommend using the BFST Knee Wrap and ColdCure Knee Wrap. While rest will help you avoid doing any further damage to your Meniscus, rest alone is not enough to accelerate the healing process. If you want to get back to doing your regular activities in a reduced amount of time, the BFST and ColdCure Knee Wraps can help with that.

Wear a ColdCure Knee Wrap as much as possible to relieve your pain and swelling and protect your Meniscus from further damage. It's important to understand that while cold therapy is an essential first step to healing, cold itself won't heal your underlying injury. The purpose of cold is to eliminate your inflammation and help with the pain. The BFST should not be used until the inflammation and pain are gone from the affected area, because you want to restrict the blood vessels when you have pain and swelling, not open them up. Blood flow therapy works to speed up the healing process for tissue that's no longer painful or swollen.

After the swelling and inflammation have been reduced, you will want to begin using the BFST Knee Wrap and doing 3-4 treatments throughout the day. The most important treatments are first thing in the morning and right before you go to bed. The treatment first thing in the morning will act as a "warm-up" for your knee, and the treatment right before bed will help your circulation improve as you sleep. You will also want to use the BFST before any physical activity. This will help you heal quickly. The BFST stimulates blood flow through your Meniscus while you are at rest. It is designed to promote blood flow in injured tissue below the dermal (fat and skin) layer. Utilizing our proprietary Energy Web®, specially controlled and incredibly safe, low levels of EMR energy envelop your knee and stimulate blood flow in the soft tissue deep beneath the skin. The resulting stimulation brings oxygen and nutrient-rich blood to the injured area, accelerating the healing process. Adequate blood flow is required for the Meniscus tissue to heal properly and quickly.

Finally, you will want to use KB Support Tape to avoid reinjuring the area as much as possible. KB Support Tape is designed to provide tissue with extra support, and also helps prevent re-injury. KB Support Tape can be worn any time but it is most important during physical activity.

Using these three products, the ColdCure Knee Wrap, BFST Knee Wrap and KB Support Tape will help to fully heal your Meniscus Tear.

As for how long this can take, that does depend on the severity of the injury, but it can take a while for injuries to fully heal, especially if the area is not getting rest or is reinjured. I have provided a link below that contains more information on the healing process and how our products can help with healing.

Treatment Questions / Re: meniscus tear
« on: November 10, 2021, 10:27:27 PM »
Hi islandboy101,

Meniscus "Repair" Surgery almost always involves cutting away torn sections of the Meniscus. The name is misleading. Very seldom does Meniscus Repair Surgery actually repair or stitch back together your Meniscus. The procedure usually gets rid of the pain by getting rid of the tissue, not fixing the actual problem. Meniscus Surgery should really be a last resort.

If you want to heal your Meniscus as quickly and completely as possible, you need a proactive treatment solution. While rest will help you avoid doing any further damage to your Meniscus, rest alone is not enough to accelerate the healing process. If you want to get back to doing your regular activities like playing rugby, in a reduced amount of time, you need our BFST and ColdCure Knee Wraps.

This is very important because while at rest, an unaided and inflamed Meniscus can otherwise have seriously impeded blood flow. It is the oxygen and nutrient-rich blood that enables the healing process, so adequate blood flow is required for the Meniscus tissue to heal properly and quickly.

Finally, you will want to use KB Support Tape to avoid reinjuring the area as much as possible. KB Support Tape is designed to provide tissue with extra support, and also helps prevent re-injury. KB Support Tape can be worn any time but it is most important during physical activity.

Using these three products, the ColdCure Knee Wrap, BFST Knee Wrap and KB Support Tape will help to heal your Meniscus Tear. If you have any further questions, or would like to speak to a treatment advisor, please feel free to contact us at 844-400-2525.

Hello,

Upon doing some research on what 'Diapulse' is, I see that it is a Pulsed Non-Thermal Electromagnetic Therapeutic device and is Medicare-Covered to treat Stage III and IV ulcers.

Our BFST wraps are a Class II Medical-Grade FDA-Approved Thermal Electromagnetic Therapeutic Device, that are engineered to help treat soft tissue injuries such as anything consisting of: Muscles, Tendons, Ligaments, and even cartilage, via Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy (BFST).

General Discussion / Re: Pacemaker
« on: August 12, 2021, 05:34:44 PM »
Hi,
Thanks so much for your question! We do not have any reason to believe that our products would electrically interfere with a pacemaker. We always recommend that people consult their physician if they have unique circumstances such as this. You should ask your cardiologist if perhaps the warmth generated by the unit would be of concern. Some people will respond to warmth with an increased cardiac rate. If using the product directly over the heart and a pacemaker is involved, or if there is any heart condition, you should always consult your cardiologist first.
Kind Regards
