Treatment Questions / Re: Polymyositis
« on: January 02, 2015, 01:04:43 PM »
Good morning,

I myself have not spoken with anyone at this point who have used the BFST for this specific muscle disease. However, the BFST will increase the circulation to the area being treated, which for polymyositis, will help prevent muscle atrophy and to regain some range of motion. I would recommend focusing on cold therapy until some of the chronic inflammation is brought down before using the BFST. I would also recommend speaking with your doctor about this form of treatment. Our BFST emits electro-magnetic energy to stimulate blood flow, bringing an increased amount of nutrients and oxygen to the treated area.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us further.

Treatment Questions / Re: question

Hi Doug. Thank you for your enquiry.

Our ColdCure Foot wrap will help relieve the pain you are experiencing and will also bring down the inflammation of the bursa. The BFST Foot/Plantar Wrap, which increases the circulation to the area, will help heal the surrounding soft tissue that has been damaged from the constant irritation against the bony protrusion, as well as in some situations, help reduce the actual calcification.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Treatment Questions / Re: Knee Treatment Requirement
« on: December 12, 2014, 02:41:35 PM »
Hi Sohail.

Thank you for your enquiry and for your interest in King Brand.

I'm sorry to hear about your knee, that must be quite painful. The knee is one area of our bodies that gets very little blood flow. This is why knee injuries tend to take a long time to heal. Our bodies natural ability to heal brings any injured area blood flow, however, the rate at which it does so is very slow.

After an injury...even days/weeks/years after an injury, cold therapy is always one of the best things you can do. The ColdCure Knee Wrap will reduce the swelling and any internal inflammation you may have, and will relieve the pain you are experiencing. The importance of bringing down inflammation with cold, is to allow your blood to start circulating through.

The BFST is what will accelerate your healing. It emits electro-magnetic energy below the dermal layer, signalling that specific area needs more oxygen/nutrient rich blood to be sent. This increased circulation will help your body heal your knee.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Treatment Questions / Re: Strained Pectoral Muscle
« on: December 09, 2014, 09:46:09 AM »
Hi Cheusmann. Thank you so much for your kind words. We couldn't be happier to hear of the success you have had with your past recoveries :)

For your pectoral muscle, I would recommend the ColdCure and BFST Back Wraps. These come as a long strap with no predefined curvature to them. I use these ones myself for my upper back by wrapping it around my chest area. The back wraps are very versatile so can be used for just about any part of the body.

Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.
All the best.
Kind regards,
Amber

Treatment Questions / Re: cortisone shots
« on: November 03, 2014, 12:09:40 PM »
Thank you for your enquiry and for your interest in our products.

Yes our products can be used along with regular cortisone shots, however, we do recommend you wait at least 2 weeks after the injection to use/continue the BFST treatments. A side effect of cortisone is that it can sometimes effect your blood pressure, this is why we recommend waiting.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind regards,
Amber

Questions & Answers About Our Products / Re: Infrared?
« on: October 17, 2014, 02:17:13 PM »
Hi. Thank you for your enquiry.

Our BFST devices work by emitting Electo-Magnetic Energy. This energy is well below the visible light frequencies which is well within the safe zone. It is far above the highly magnetic frequencies and also at very low intensities, relative to therapies like Short Wave. Our technology is superior to shortwave, ultrasound, microwave and IR LED.

I hope this information helps. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Treatment Questions / Re: Peripheral neuropathy
« on: October 07, 2014, 11:32:32 AM »
Hi and thank you for your enquiry and interest toward our products.

Peripheral neuropathy has many potential sources.  As impaired blood flow can be one of them, the BFST will certainly help. Our nerves are living cells that depend on the exchange of nutrients and other material, with the blood supply that surrounds them. By increasing the circulation to the area, you will also be increasing the amount of nutrients and oxygen available to the surrounding nerves.

I have included a link for more information about how the BFST works:

Treatment Questions / Re: Chronic back pain
« on: October 03, 2014, 12:58:18 PM »
Thank you for your enquiry and for your interest in King Brand.

I am sorry to hear of the back pain you are experiencing. Our ColdCure Back Wrap will not only help relieve the pain you are experiencing, but will also reduce any internal inflammation you may have. This is especially important if you are active and tend to often strain the area. Our BFST Back Wrap, although not a heating device, does emit some warmth, but simply as a byproduct of the technology. Heat, although relaxing, promotes blood flow only to the skin surface. In order to heal damage within, blood flow must be promoted below the dermal layer, deep within the soft tissue. Our BFST wrap emits electro-magnetic energy that will increase the circulation to the soft tissue area being treated. This increased blood flow carries the oxygen and nutrients soft tissue injuries need to heal. Our bodies natural ability to heal brings any injured area blood flow, however, the rate at which it does so is very slow. Our BFST wraps simply speeds up this process.

I hope I have answered your questions. I have also included our 'Back Injury' site for more information:

General Discussion / Re: Lisfranc injury
« on: October 03, 2014, 11:40:02 AM »
Hi Kareng88.

I would recommend continuing with your Cold therapy until the swelling and inflammation is completely gone. After the swelling is gone, you can begin your BFST treatments. If at any time you decide to start your BFST treatments, should you have any discomfort or if the inflammation and swelling re-arises, return to using cold therapy right away.

If swelling is present at the time of a BFST treatment, it is possible it will cause not only more swelling, but a discomfort due to the increase blood flow to the area.

We recommend performing BFST treatments directly against your skin (no compression stockings). Make sure you have at least 1 finger width in between your skin and the wrap.

If you have any more questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards,
Amber

Treatment Questions / Re: bursitis
« on: September 19, 2014, 12:06:37 PM »
Thank you for your enquiry.

Bursitis is the inflammation of a Bursa, which in turn leads to restricted blood flow to the area. Our ColdCure wraps not only help relieve the pain you are experiencing, they also work to reduce the inflammation. Once the inflammation has been brought down, our BFST wraps work to bring oxygen and nutrient rich blood to the area and at an accelerated rate. This is what the body needs to heal itself.

I have included a link to our page on Bursitis for more information.

Treatment Questions / Re: Help with baker's cyst
« on: September 05, 2014, 10:37:07 AM »
Thank you for your enquiry and for your interest in King Brand.

For a Baker's Cyst we always recommend cold therapy until the cyst is either gone, or the size has reduced significantly. You would want to put the ColdCure Leg wrap on the back of your knee and do this for a good couple weeks.

Most Baker's Cysts are a result of an underlying knee issue, so in order to heal the Baker's cyst permanently, you need to fix the knee. Our BFST Knee wrap is a great treatment for any soft tissue injury that may be ailing the knee. We still however recommend only cold therapy for the first couple weeks before any BFST use. The BFST promotes blood flow to the knee area and with a Baker's Cyst present, it will fill up the cyst with even more fluid (which we do not want).

Our advice: Get the cyst down as much as possible with cold compresses then focus on healing the knee.

Please take a look at our Baker's Cyst page for more information.

We wish you all the very best.
Kind regards,
Amber

Treatment Questions / Re: Treatment after micro-discectomy
« on: August 29, 2014, 03:23:03 PM »
Hi diggertoo. Thank you for the enquiry and for your interest in our products.

Our BFST will absolutely help the soft tissue around your spine heal post surgery. The BFST wrap emits electro-magnetic energy below the dermal layer, signalling that specific area needs more oxygen/nutrient rich blood to be sent. This is what promotes healing (especially while being able to be at rest). Please feel free to look at our Back page on our website for more information on our back wraps as well.

I wish you all the best with your recovery :) If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards,
Amber

Treatment Questions / Re: Response to BFST treatments
« on: June 05, 2014, 12:21:10 PM »
I feel a nice warming sensation throughout my whole 20 minute treatment. Level 2 is where I always stay. I don't feel any tingling, numbing or discomfort which tells me my body can handle the amount of electro magnetic energy being emitted on level 2.
