Customer Feedback / Re: Cold and Heat Knee Wraps
« on: July 12, 2018, 03:20:08 PM »
I have bought both the cold packs and the heating pad.  The cold packs are great. But the heating pad is really not great. Doesn’t get hit like advertised. It only gets barely lukewarm

Hi Jeff,

Thank you for your feedback. Our BFST is actually not a heating pad. It is so much more than that. The mild warming sensation that one feels when using it is exactly how it should feel. A heating pad tends to have excess blood pool around the skin surface, whereas the BFST helps stimulate your body's circulation so it can get to tissue well beneath the skin. The more "heat" that is felt with the BFST can either have to do with inflammation blocking the pathway for the blood flow to get to the injury or poor circulation. In conclusion, the less "heat" felt with the BFST, the more effective the treatment is.

The order is long past warranty,  purchased in 2016,  I will call to discuss  but I conclude from your response that I will have to purchase a new one. Please confirm or refute my conclusion with your reply.

If you purchased the original bfst, later in the year (around December), you may still be within the service life of this product. Otherwise, you would have to purchase a new one. Any of our agents would be happy to help you place an order and we can also offer you a discount on shipping.

Questions & Answers About Our Products / Re: cold cure
« on: May 30, 2018, 03:23:22 PM »
Thank you for your inquiry about our products.

Our gel packs contain a unique XC Gel® formula which allows the gel packs to retain a safe 32°F/0°C to not risk 'cold burns', the temperature remains consistent throughout a treatment as well as stays pliable even when completely frozen. Our gel packs also come with a wrap to help keep it in place during a treatment and offer mild compression to ensure the cold is focused down deep into the tissue to bring down inflammation around the injury.  Each one is specifically designed to mold around the shape of the body part in which it is treating as well.

I hope this information was helpful for you. Please contact us if you have any further questions or concerns.

Treatment Questions / Re: Wrist Tendonitis
« on: May 13, 2018, 11:23:30 AM »
Thank you for your inquiry.

Inflammation is below the surface of the skin, usually around the injury itself, therefore not visible like swelling. You know you have inflammation by the pain you experience as the by-product of inflammation is pain. You will know that the inflammation has come down and you are ready to start using the bfst when the pain has lessened.

You can also do the coldcure and bfst treatments as a combination therapy. If your wrist is feeling better after a coldcure treatment, wait long enough for the area to come back to room temperature and you can follow it with a bfst treatment.

I hope this was helpful for you. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.
