Questions & Answers About Our Products / Re: ankle or foot wrap?
« on: May 16, 2014, 07:20:40 PM »
Hi flower_power,

Thank you for your question!

Tarsal tunnel is an ailment that generally affects the rear of your foot, and the heel. For treating Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome, most cases could require our Achilles products, where some people could benefit from the Front and Side Ankle Wrap. If your pain or numbness is affecting the back side, then I would recommend Achilles, where as the Front and Side Ankle wrap would work much better if the pain and numbness is affecting you more to the front and side of your ankle.

Questions & Answers About Our Products / Re: COLD LASERS??
« on: March 28, 2014, 05:41:06 PM »
Hello turbo,

Thank you for your question it is a very valid question.

Cold Laser Therapy, or Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is when a low-level powered laser is used for therapeutic purposes. These lasers are utilized with handheld devices, called cold laser units or low level laser units. During a treatment, the laser is pointed directly over the affected area. The manufacturers of these home laser devices claim that these lasers will heal soft tissue injuries. With few exceptions, this is simply not true. A typical cold laser unit will not heal your soft tissue injury. Cold laser units for home use do not cover enough of the injured area or output enough energy to heal you. Home cold laser units simply aren't as powerful or as effective as BFST® devices.

King Brand's BFST wraps are safe in-home treatments cover an area 5000 times what a cold laser would cover, and BFST requires no additional safety equipment to operate.

Stew

Hi Art,

Our Wrist products would provide excellent coverage for your De Quervain's syndrome. Our Wrist wraps, both ColdCure and BFST, allow for superior coverage and maneuverability when covering forearm though hand. Our BFST will help you to stimulate the healing process throughout the area, while ColdCure will help control any pain, swelling and inflammation. Using both BFST and ColdCure in combination will give you the best results, and help you to avoid surgery.

Thanks for posting!

Treatment Questions / Re: BFST use with metal pins
« on: December 11, 2013, 02:07:53 PM »
Hi quickster,

Thank you for posting your question.

Our BFST products are safe to use whenever there are medical pins or plates present. You shouldn't have any concerns when treating your knee. The BFST uses energy that only works on soft tissue, in your case this would be the soft tissues in and around your pin(s). This will speed the recovery by promoting blood flow to your knee.
